The SBPBGMB/SBPBGMT Series LP gas reels are constructed with polished aluminum for a lightweight, corrosion-resistant design. A split bronze bearing on the inlet side of the reels is now standard. As a result, removal of the swivel joint is no longer necessary to replace the bearing, and replacement can be completed in the field in just a matter of minutes.

Improved Hose Control 

Proper hose handling can mean the difference between a safe delivery or a total disaster. Operators require consistent, reliable control over the hose in order to keep up with demands. Manually rewinding the hose after each deployment can also take time and limit how many deliveries your service is able to complete in a given day.

Using a Hannay LP gas reel equipped with Guidemaster^®  boosts operator safety and efficiency. The Guidemaster^® gives operators more control over the hose, allowing them to pull it out and away from the deck in any direction. The pivot pin in the Guidemaster^®  is supported by ball bearings, which allows for smooth side-to-side motion when handling the hose. This attachment also protects the hose with wear-resistant hourglass rollers. An explosion-proof rewind control, with a weather resistant cover, is integrated right into the handle, cutting down on time and energy otherwise spent manually rewinding the hose and protecting it from the harsh elements.
